What types of programs does BGA offer?
We offer recreational, dance and gym combo, and trampoline classes for all ages. Competitive and pre-competitive programs for ages 4 and up are available. We also offer summer camp, private lessons, group visits, school groups and amazing birthday parties.

What does my child wear to gymnastics?
Shorts without zippers/buttons and a t-shirt, or a gym suit and bare feet are required in the gym. No jewelry is permitted and long hair must be tied back.

How many children are in a class?
Class ratio varies depending on the size of the class. It is usually 8:1, with a coach helper. Keep in mind that classes may be cancelled or combined due to lack of sufficient enrollment.

What do we do when we arrive for our first class?
All footwear should be left in the front lobby. We have a women's only change room and a family change room available. All outer clothing articles can be left in either change room. Please wait in the viewing area or change room with your children until your coach comes to get the class.

Can I watch?
Only authorized coaches and personnel are permitted in the gym and parents are not permitted in the gym, with exception of the You & Me class. Our viewing area window is located outside the family change room. No food or drinks are permitted in our viewing area (water only).

What do parents do in a You & Me class?
Parents attend the class to assist their child with the circuit and are responsible for keeping their child with the group at all times. Parents are asked to wait in the change room or viewing area for the coach before coming up onto the gym floor.

What payment options do you offer?
We only take cash or cheque payments and fees must be paid at time of registration. There will be a $25 charge for NSF cheques. A pro-rated refund, should your child decide to withdraw from a class, will be provided and a $10 cancellation fee will be applied. Please keep your receipt for income tax purposes as there will be a $15 charge for duplicate receipts.
